This is a device incorporating six special steel pulleys with a tungsten carbide hardened working surface, which eliminates the oxidations on the surface of the rod – caused by the cooling after the hot rolling process – by bending and stretching.
Then, a blower eliminates the residual dust, completing the mechanical pickling of the rod.
One centrifugal fan, placed on the back of the machine is aspirating the powder. The pipe to the treatment plant is excluded from the supply.
